US-based low-carb pasta brand It’s Skinny has introduced what it claims is a category-first line of meals, pairing its signature low-calorie and gluten-free pasta with cheesy sauce blends.
The meal range aims to bring 'restaurant-quality flavours to the home cooking category' without sacrificing on convenience.
Available in three flavours, each meal has just 7g or less of total carbs per serving, aiming to offer a lower-calorie and reduced-sodium alternative to popular pasta dishes. The meal options – Truffle Parm, Cacio e Pepe and Velvety Cheddar – are ready in just five minutes, combining the comfort of a pasta dish with the ease of a ready meal.
Bryan Guadagno, CEO of It’s Skinny, said: “The current Pasta Meals selections have remained largely untouched when it comes to true innovation and we saw an opportunity to bring something completely new. These meals are for everyone, providing comforting flavours made with ingredients that fit a variety of dietary preferences, so no one has to miss out on what they love."
Made from konjac, a high-fibre and low-carb root vegetable, It’s Skinny's pasta products are naturally gluten-free with low net carbs and a low glycemic impact. The brand offers four versatile noodle shapes and a line of flavourful pasta meals, all crafted to satisfy diverse culinary preferences while supporting balanced lifestyles.
“Our goal was to create indulgent, restaurant-inspired flavours while keeping nutrition at the
forefront," said Elad Barkan, chief product officer of It’s Skinny. "By leveraging my experience
in both culinary artistry and food science, we created meals with high-quality ingredients that
deliver bold taste without unnecessary carbs, calories or sodium."
It's Skinny's new pasta ready meals are available at HEB stores across Texas, US, or nationwide from Amazon, Publix and Kroger.
