The announcement comes ahead of World Water Day on 22 March, a UN global day to celebrate water.
Belu has donated a £555,662 to WaterAid since the initial three-year partnership began in 2011.
“We are immensely proud to be able to extend our partnership with WaterAid and donate all of our profits to help some of the world’s poorest people,” said Karen Lynch, Belu chief executive. “Just £15 can enable one person to access a lasting supply of safe water, improved hygiene and sanitation. That’s a lot of lives we’re transforming, and we were able to do so by holding sound every one of our principles. Every day, every one of our decisions is driven by doing the right thing for people and planet.”
“WaterAid are thrilled to extend their partnership with Belu into 2020, and continue to work together to transform lives around the world,” said Barbara Frost, WaterAid chief executive. “Every time you choose to drink Belu, you are supporting WaterAid in their vision for a world where everyone, everywhere has access to clean, safe water and toilets by 2030.”
